Question about F12K - FIAGT mod.

You don't say which tracks you are using, but I will guess it's some of
the new ones like Lemans.  Try the built in tracks first.   I know the
Simbin guys did some AI work on those.  The trouble with other tracks
depends who crafted it.  LeMans and Zandvoort were done by the ALMS team and
that mod uses different grip levels.  I think we are gonna have to sit down
and figure out which tracks need ai work or small tweeks.
Hopefully the various mod teams can at least communicate how thier mods
react to certain tracks.
IAN?  Does the AI suffer at different tracks?

"Steve Lane"

I was thinking (shaddupp you guys)about this some last night and began to
wonder if frame-rate has anything to do with it.    I know even with the
tweaks made by the Simbin team, the framerate on my machine is pretty low at
the start.  Once under way it climbs quite high.
So, at least on my system, the fps counter kinda mimics the ai behaivor.
I will say tho, that the FIA GT V3 cars cannot handle LeMans very well.
They will spin very often on the sharper turns like at the End of the
Mulsaane straight and the Indianapolis turn.   Here again I don't know if
the AI setup files need to be adjusted for each individual track....also I
don't know how willing the track creators would be to have theier work
adjusted.
The LeMans daytime track is here:

keep in mind the installer is designed for the main F1 sim and the ALMS
mod.  Once you install it for the F1 cars you can copy the whole track
folder over to the FIA mod.  Make sure you READ the readme...you have to
edit the game.gdb file to get it working properly.
Perhaps posting on the Simbin forum might get more response from the
makers...This would be a nice area to improve.
