if you want to read an article by graham hill, describing a lap of
brands in his 1.5 litre brm, and see a track plan (learn what 'clark
curve' and 'graham hill bend' were originally called), and study a
profile of this most excellent track, take a look at:

This was truly exellent stuff, Martin!

Graham Hill seems like a nice chap, and it seems like he did know the
other thing about racing... ;-)

Hill's best quote..."If the back wheels lock up, the car may spin round, and
that will unsettle you somewhat."

Graham's autobiography "Life At the Limit" is a hoot to read.  It was
written shortly after his 1969 U.S. GP accident, and I suspect it's long
out of print

I found it in my local library, was real tempted to "lose" it ;-)

And you are right, it is a great read.

also try 'graham'.  a journalist was recording interviews with hill,
which covered a lot of the same ground as 'life at the limit' but went
on to include his decision to stop racing, forming a team, and so on.
the interviews continued right up to his death.  it's written very
much in the same style as 'life at the limit'. the last chapter is
written by his widow, and is a real tear-jerker, even for this hardend
race-sim ***.
