I was just wondering, when Nascar 2 is out and the NRL is up and
running, will we be able to use our own car designs?
The indexing feature makes it sound feasible, but I wonder about
Copyright problems. Perhaps you would have to pre-approve car designs as
part of the application process.
Could you give us some idea about this?

Well, you're right about the copyright problems.

Further, NRL will probably have our own sponsored cars.  The Winston
Cup division has them, so will NRL!

With that said, we are trying to figure out how to accomodate user
created cars in user created series.  It's a technical issue & a legal
nightmare.  Do definite answer yet.

What I am most concerned about is getting to know who is in a particular car in my rear
view etc. Are we possibly gonna be able to drive assigned permanant cars?
Also about the makes of cars, in Hawaii we are thrust into whatever make of car the
network gives us , ie. will a Chevy setup work the same in a Ford or Pontiac?

Instead of replying in multiple threads, please take a look at my new
posting "NRL cars & sponsorship".  I think it will clear things up.
