Ed, may I dump one of my pet peeves on you?

In the real world of NASCAR racing, qualifying at short tracks, and at
C***te Motor Speedway, consists of two laps, just like Talladega.  Many of
us in IGN, SIMCAR, etc., have made this change to our "track.txt" files for
our series races.

As you know, this is an easy change to make.  I was wondering if Papyrus could
post a patch with new "track.txt" files for Bristol, Martinsville, Richmond,
North Wilkesboro, and C***te, so that we can have two lap qualifying at
these tracks on Hawaii.  Thanks.

Pat

I commented to Papyrus about qualifying,  for a different reason,  when
the game first came out.  The complaint I had was that the cold tire traction
was so low that you couldn't get in a decent qualifying lap with only one lap
to warm them up.  At a lot of tracks you can't get in a qualifying lap that's
as fast as a race lap,  not to realistic.
Pat,  could you post the instructions,  or direct me to them,  on how to
make the change to the track.txt file.  Thanks.
