I read the .txt file concerning the NRL, and I was just wondering if
you could shed any light on the Nascar License thing?  How will people
go about applying for it?  What are the requirements, if any, to
obtain it, and how much is it going to cost us?  I understand if it's
too early for these types of questions, but you've peaked my interest.

Thanks,
CR Ridley

NRL membership will be available via the NRL... In other words, you
can sign up on line (sort of).  It will work like this...  You can opt
to join the NRL online, and will be given a provisional membership
right away (good for maybe 15 days).  We will send out the membership
agreement via snail-mail.  You will have to sign it & snail-mail it
back to us.  Once we receive the application, we will flip you from
provisional to full membership.  (BTW, the membership agreement will
probably be the same one that members of the other 12 divisions
sign... so, CR Ridley will sign ght esame agreement that Dale Earnhart
signs).

Just about everyone will be eligable for NRL membership.

There probably will be some fee.  We have not set the price yet.  It
will be a lot less than signing up for Winston Cup, though!

of reguard to reality...

Now, if I could just get those bonus check that Dale gets!!!

Looks like we may see one more aspect of reality invading sim racing -
racers having to pound pavement for sponsorship!!!

Please read my post titled "NASCAR Racing League - cars &
sponsorship".  It will shed more light on the issue.  However, NRL
drivers will not be able to go after sponsors initially.
