Somebody here said, and I agree with it, you get speed from faster CPU's and
my Eye Candy from a new vidcard.
Surely a new card will increase your framerate some, but not the leaps
and bounds you may be expecting. What you will get is the ability to move
up a screen rez or two and maybe add FSAA or Anistropic filtering without
killing the frame-rate.
An XP 2200 is already faster than the target cpu GP4 was probably
disigned for, so your increases probably won't be that great. If you have a
non-ddr gf3, then moving up to a 128mb with fast ddr vidram may allow you to
run 32bit color with little penalty as well.
