Hi,
As I'm a big fan of N2 and ICR2 I'd like to go a step further and get
a rendition vidcard. A friend of mine is in the States right now and
is willing to take one back for me. Of course I've been reading the
problems with the V2K chipsets. So I'd like to get vidcard with a
V1000 chipset. Could anybody help me on which card is the best
(Sierra's Screamin' 3D??) and where my friend could best order it???
And what it would cost?

Hey Tim,
The only trouble I've had with ICR2 is getting the mirrors to be
usable. My Diamond Stealth II runs both N2 and ICR2/CART fairly well,
although I believe there is a noticiable speed improvement with N2.
The Screamer 3d is available directly through Sierra. You can go to
thier website, they used to have it listed there. should only run about
$99 us dollars these days.
Canopus also released a V1000 vid card and I think it was supposed to be
slightly faster than the others.(btw, Canopus built the Screamer 3d for
Sierra)
I have also seen the screamer 3d in some stores, so Your friend may be
able to pick one up at the mall type stores. Good Luck.

BTW, the special version of A10-Silent Thunder II which comes with the
Screamin' is almost as good as ICR2 in Rendition.
