HELP!! Dos4wg exception error in INDYCAR and NASCAR

Could someone help me please.  I am usually able to drive to my hearts content in the pre-season
test in both games when there are no other drivers on the track; but as soon as I get on the track
with other drivers - whether in practice, qualifying, or in an actual race - my system crashes.  I
usually use a boot disk and I have a Pentium 90 with 16 MB RAM and a Diamond Stealth 64
VRAM.

I would be extremely grateful for any suggestions.  Thanks.
