Hey Dave Henrie a quick question for you.

I assume (correctly I hope) you have GP3, does it play like the demo?

The demo IMHO is the biggest piece of crud I've ever seen and yet people
here seem to love it.

I've enjoyed all earlier versions of GP but the GP3 demo just doesn't
seem to do it. GPL looks "NEW" compared to the GP3 demo (Still love GPL
even if I do suck at it).

I think the last modern F1 game I really enjoyed was F1RC.

Anyway, (damn that was long winded) how's the "Full Version" compared to
the demo?

Thanks,

Bob

NOPE!  don't have it.  I tried the demo and it seemed very familiar to
GP2.  I could only afford one sim at the time and F1cs2k was rumoured to
have a CART & Touring Car patch so thats the direction I went.   From what I
gather, Each of the 3 big F1 titles all have different feels and goodpoints.
It's kinda like picking a flavour of pudding...some like chocolate, some
like butterscotch and some like that milky rice pudding stuff...
i didn't really find anything WRONG with gp3 except what seemed to be left
out.  That may have contributed to my decision.
I only ran the F1rc demo a couple of times...kinda pointless since it has
no US release and my beefed up AMD system fried when I screwed it up...   I
would like to give GP4 (when it's released)a very close look tho...  I will
say, however, that  people have been clamoring for a completely new code
base for the next gp4 title.  Well...Unless they have been working on that
in Parallel with the previous titles, I don't see how they can finish a
completely new software engine in less than a year's time.
{of course I said that about F12001 <<or whatever the new ISI/EA title is
officially called>>}
I suspect if you liked F1rc then the new version, fully patched of course,
will be more to your liking.  Plus the Relay site that tracks and enables
limited mulitiplayer options is a big bonus.
