I 'd like to know which car would be better to learn playing GPL in order to
make good laptimes and to have a good handling. I know I have to patch the
game in order to have Honda, Cooper, etc...
Thanks.

Jump in the coventry and grab Eagle Womans setups and you will the closest
thing to a forgiving setup possible in GPL!

It's fast and its sorta heavy so it won't spin away as easy as the rest.

I would recommend that learners try the F2 cars (advanced trainers) - They
are great fun, they feel similar to the F1 cars but are a bit more
forgiving. The VROC F2 club is well worth a look. There is a link from the
VROC main page.

GraDee, you must be thinking of the BRM here, the Brabham is the
smallest lightest chassis in the game.

Got to agree with Bernhard Deininger! Easiest car to drive in GPL. Default
cars? Probably Lotus and *some* Eagles. The Brabham and Ferrari are both
rewarding for experienced GPL'ers.

Mtanker
No way. The Brabham is one of the hardest cars to drive due to its narrow
track. Start off with the Cooper or the Honda and Alison Hines setups.
Joel Willstein
Brabham: Lightest, most low-end power, lowest horsepower, smallest
BRM: Heaviest, least low-end power (you can stomp on it...no chirps until
at least 8000 RPM!), highest horsepower (I think), biggest
Although (especially with the soundpack from High Gear) the BRM sure does
sound good with its H-16 (two flat-8's stacked) and a 6-speed gearbox...

Go for the BRM. It drives like a tank. There's no way you'll find this
car twitching about in corners etc and catching you out. It reacts sooo
sluggishly!! Once you get a handle/feeling for what the car's doing -
in other words you can tell when something's not right and, more
importantly, can automatically react to correct it - then you'll be
ready for the other beasts.

No person's opinions can be said to be
more correct than another's, because each is
the sole judge of his or her own experience.

The brabham is certainly fun to drive, But it's more than a handful for
a newbie. BTW,I split my driving time between the Brabham and the Ferrari.
