I have just got TOCA for xmas, but I can;t get it to work.


Any ideas why ???

I have the latest directx 5 drivers installed.

Hi Rob,

you are not alone... I have got TOCA as well and it won't run with my
Monster 3D card. When loading the track, it stops with a message, saying
that I have run out of video ram. It forces me to run the game with
softeware 3D, which is crap.

Aynone got any suggestions, please?

Make sure that the directX '3d acceleration' option is turned on.
Let me know if you still have problems.

Marek,

What screen size are you running ?

I can only get the intro vid to load in 32 bit colour mode.

what about you ?

Make sure hardware acceleration is turned on for your 3dFX card. Run
c:\program files\directx\setup\dxtool.exe

Look at your 3d card and make sure hardware acceleration is on.
