EXTREME 500 (Motorcycle sim) -- where did this come from all of a sudden?

by Devo » Sun, 10 Oct 1999 04:00:00

I was just surfing the web and saw that THQ/GT Interactive(Australia, at
least) is scheduled to release a Motorcycle game/sim called Extreme 500 this
week.

It supposedly is an accurate simulation of the 500ccm GP series (like 500GP,
I suppose). 15 "real world" tracks...

www.thq.co.uk seems to be down right now, so I can't find out any more about
it. Web searches come up with ZILCH.

I also haven't seen ANY talk of this product here in RAS, and like I said,
it's being released THIS WEEK.
Anybody got any info on this? Is it a "sim" or an arcade game. Licensed by
FIM/FIA??

Wot's with all the motorcyle sims coming out right now anyway? AMA, GP500,
Harley, and now this!

And No, I'm not confusing this with Mircoprose/Hasbro's product.

I played the demo of this a while back. It seems about on par with MotoX
madness.
