HELP - N3 Locking Up

I've made a previous post with  having problems with N3 locking up. Thanks
bphall.  I bought a new computer and my first upgrade was Nascar 3.  I can
only do a few  laps before it locks up. I have a ***max  AMD Athlon 850MHz
with an nVIDIA Geforce 256 with 32 MB ( beautiful computer ) . I've tried
everything I can think of. I tried the patch and that didn't work. I do not
have any windows programs running. Is anyone having problems with a
non-Intel processor? There's a DEBUG.TXT log file and it comes up empty, so
there's no help there. I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Make sure you have the latest drivers for the geforce  and your
soundcard as well.
and choose D3D of course, not glide.

Did you put a debug line in the N3.ini file.
