Logitech FF-wheel question

Hi,

is there a tweak to assign the forces from the y-axis to the x-axis with the
Logitech wheel?

I tried one this weekend and am missing those forces I'm used from my
Saitek.

TIA

Maybe I'm missing something here.  So you'd want to be able to feel a
push from behind, and cause it to jerk your wheel right (for
instance)?  Now that seems a little counterproductive-- not to mention
unnatural-- to me...

There's a little room for the wheel to move backward and forward, so you can
feel e.g. the weight moving to the front when hitting the breaks or ... a
push forward, if someone knocks at the fender from behind.
Remember, that FF is also designed for Joysticks...
I would find it more unnatural to feel the push in the pedals, well... maybe
your feet are more sensitive than mine ;-)

Ah, I just checked and the X axis is used for steering on the LWFF.
Oh, and there are no forces on the pedals except your own feet.
