Why no savegame feature???

In the last week I've bought F1 2000, SCGT and GPL. Not one of them
allows you to save during the race. How can I run a full length race
with no save game feature? I don't want to have to sit in fornt of my
computer for 80 laps in one session. Is there some kind of technical
issue as to why these games don't have this option? GP2 has an in-game
save feature so why not these ones?

Maybe a good way to enable "fair" saves would be to only allow saves in
the pit? Perhaps also a game that was saved in "career" mode could only
be continued from its last save point.

Just my 2 cents.

Andrew

Hey! HEY! Where is the "cents" key on the keyboard!?!?! (just another way
the man is keeping us down)

The adrealine rush you get when you're fighting for the win after 2
hours of racing, without saving or pausing, is the biggest thrill
you'll ever get behind a pc.

Funny, I sit *in front* of my PC, but, well, to each his own. :-]

Andrew

PS But I *was* behind my PC with my wife the other night, pretty good thrill
there you know.

Fighting for the win?  That implies that you're actually in the same *zip code*
as the leader...<g>

Ahhh...I forgot I'm in one of those news groups where snobbery runs
rampant.
