Graphics problems with Colin McRae Rally

Hopefully someone can solve this problem for me.

Current setup

Celeron 300A on Abit BH6
256Mb SDRAM
Matrox Millenium G200
Diamond Monster II 12Mb

Win 98, Direct X 6 from CMR CD

The problem I am seeing is that CMR does not detect the Voodoo card and
insists on running using the G200's 3D capabilities.  Now the game runs
fine but the frame rate is poor.  Obviously I want to get it running off
the Voodoo but when I look in the advanced graphics options there is
only an option to use device 0 (the G200) and no device 1 (where the
Voodoo should be).

Any ideas?????

Did you try reinstalling your voodooII drivers.  DX6 might have overwritten
your voodooII 3D device when it was installed.

Also, go visit news.3dfx.com under 3dfx.game.discussion and
3dfx.products.voodoo2 Their are numerous posts re CMR and 3dfx cards.

Peter,

Make sure that you don't have "Disable Voodoo2 Direct3D Support" selected in
the Direct3D Advanced Properties tab of your drivers.
