GP3 : Manual : Imola

Ok so I am being pedantic
I just got a downer on GP3 at the moment
In the manual there are plans of the circuits
but isnt the plan for Imola the exact same plan from GP2 maual
doesnt it look diffrent now ?
(and in '98)
more imortant to get it right in the game I know
I am just suprised that they did not match the plans in the manual to
the plans in the game

Dont worry, Imola is correct in the game. It's just something tipical for
the GP serries. If I remember correctly, the GP2 manual also had some wrong
trackplans, the Estorilcircuit didnt have that slowchicane in the manual
allthough it was in the game. Wouldnt be suprised if the GP4 manual had the
old Monza chicane in it :-)

Cheers,

I can't say for sure, as I haven't got the game yet, but my guess is that
they probably didn't have enough time to do it properly.

I remember comparing the ones in the GP2 manual to the maps in the GP1
manual,
and they were the same too!

These track maps are probably from 1991!

Yeah, only 4 years.

Takes an awful lot of time to make a bitmap of a track I guess.

The Barcelone picture is still displaying the pre-1994 layout....

My guess: Geoff and co don't give shit about all you guys who love F1
simulation.

Im glad I tried (and deleted) the warez version.

Nah, I'm still looking forward to getting it. I've even gone to extreme
measures and reinstalled GP2 to run Detroit and Phoenix... They truly rock!

There's also the obligatory typo in the manual.

IIRC, the GP2 manual mentioned a Mike Hakkinen.

GP3 manual has an Oliver Panis.

Minor details, but it's pretty sloppy work. I'd be looking
for a new job if I released work with simple factual errors like
that in it.
