The IRL was bagged on it's inception.  I wonder if they'll incorporate the
late race yellow flags for the "mythical" track debris.

Codemasters is in the UK, right?  How the <expletive> does a foreign company(no
offense) get the exclusive rights to an *American* race?!?

So now it's official we'll never have an IRL simulation.

Yeah, let's remember how well "ABC IRL Interactive" did. At least, they won
the exclusive PC rights, which means that Papyrus can't waste their time
doing boring open-wheel cars racing boring ovals :)

I wonder how they will model the empty grandstands?

It's to a website called TrackForum (www.trackforum.com) that is more
or less a pro-IRL site. There are some interesting comments about this
new sim by fans of the IRL.

Brain in a Jar has an apparently great physics model in their studio, they
had original plans on the ferrari sim a while back, that got canned.
According to some people whove used it its pretty good.

I think this will be a great sim for people without the talent and
experience to get into a better sim.

Not v.American though is it.
Half the drivers are from overseas, the chassis are built in the UK and
Italy.  At least the tracks are US (although rumours of a Japanese race next
year) and half the engines are.
