A very fair review I felt, it pretty much mirrors my experience with the sim,
especially my frustration with the maddening menus.

A very fair review in my opinion. I wish someone would come out with a
patch to reduce the drag of the grass! With that fixed, the sim would be
more of a sim.

Are there any D3D users out there that have tried the 1.07 patch? I
installed it, saw the graphics were worse, for example the sky had
discontinuities, and the frame rate was quite a bit lower. My system is
AMD K6-233, 64MB ram, Viper 330. Went back to the version off the CD,
which looks great and is smooth with all graphics options turned on. The
only thing I miss is having rear view mirrors that work in ghost mode.

Thanks. I worked pretty hard to make the review comprehensive yet
fair.
