I feel bad because I really want a product like this to do well, but
my allegience is to the readers, not to the developers, and only by
not sugarcoating what's wrong with the product can we ever hope to see
it improved.

I personally don't understand why they felt compelled to rush the
product out the door AFTER the F1 finale in Suzuka.  They'd have been
better off to wait until February or March of next year, get the
missing stuff in, and call it F1 '99, and gamer interest would be high
as it would be the start of a new season.
