Another Guillemot Ferarri Wheel Question

by Marc Collin » Thu, 23 Dec 1999 04:00:00

This wheel has four paddles behind the steering wheel...two to use as
F1-style shifters and two that substitute for the pedals if the pedals are
not plugged in.

My question is if the pedals ARE plugged in, can you still use the two
"pedal paddles" for something else or are they locked as pedal substitutes?
Are they analogue (progressive) or digital (on/off)?  I can only assume they
are analogue if they are real pedal substitutes.

If they can be used in addition to the pedals, then we just found a wheel
that can be set-up with a clutch for GPL (not on the floor, but good enough
for me!) and any future modern F1 sim. that includes a clutch option (and
there it is even in the right place!!).

Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions.

Marc.

I got my Guillemot Ferrari FF wheel a few days ago, and wow, it really is a
great wheel....

When the pedals are plugged into the wheel the 2 lower paddles behind the
wheel are disabled unfortunatly...
