HELP! SCGT 1.551 and 3500

Help. I've just upgraded from SLI'd Voodoo 2's to a V3 3500. SCGT runs until
I escape out from the pits then it kills the PC. Black screen, no response
from the keyboard, the only thing I can do is press the off button!
I have reinstalled the game from scratch (and forgot to save my saves! so
I'm not happy). It works prior to the patch but not after.
Has anyone any ideas?

  Can't help much,  I've got the V3 3000 and SCGT works fine.  Using the
patch AND the huge Service Pak 3.0 by Gunslinger.  Make sure your
drivers are up to date, and...check to insure that SCGT is running 3dfx
Voodoo instead of default software or D3d.

I haven't played SCGT in about two months, where do you find updates and
patches ???

Following another newsgroup entry, my problem was being caused by LiveWare
3.0. I just killed it off and both GPL and SCGT work fine.
The wonders of the Internet eh!
