Only problem is that the track was very poorly put together. (Assuming
you dl'd the same one that I did). When I drove the track, I thought it
seemed very odd, and then I loaded it into Paul Hoad's track editor,
and realised that it was completely off. Missed out about 3 or 4
corners, all the elevation changes, and also the "driving on the
mountain" scenery ie. it was like driving on a track in a paddock.
The sandown track was very well done, very close to the real thing, but
the Bathurst track needed some adjusting to give justice to the real
deal. I'd be interested in trying your one out, to compare with the old
one that I had. It wasn't too bad to race on, actually, just that it
didn't resemble Bathurst!!
BTW, a rather incredible experience would be the Bathurst and GPL
combo!! Dealing with the Dipper would have to seriously test the best
of them. Not to mention the sweeper before Caltex Chase....
