There was a game released a few years ago which only had bathurst, and
could be classed as the worst ever game. You had to pit every lap as you
couldnt last two laps without running outta fuel
OK, I'm dying to know. What is so great about Bathurst. The Aussies go
on and on about this track. Can someone point me to a web site that will
give me a good impression of what is so special about this mythical place?

I once saw a TV report about a touring car race there.
The track is apparently quite long (over 6 km), has a long straight
and some twisty uphill/downhill sections, with some similarities to
the Nuerburgring Nordschleife or Laguna Seca.

Pit straight is at the bottom. The track is relatively flat til
Griffin's bend and then the "climb" begins. Somewhere near the
two parks at the upper right the course begins to decend until
it hits the long Conrod straight. Perhaps it isn't the course
so much as the racers who have made the course famous.

One Ozzie describe the difference between the Super Tourers and the
V8's
the 2.0 litre cars seemed to crawl around the lower open portions of the
track
although he thought they did quite well in the hills, but the V8's
really shine
on those monster straights.
