Is there any signal that the N4 AI cars will give before entering the pits?

  That is a feature in Nascar Heat.  Your crew chief will radio to
you...that car ahead is pitting...  trouble is...if there are more than one
or two cars up ahead it's tough to tell just which one is getting ready to
pit.

If you're underneath them, yes.  They will take you in with them :-)

Nope, not really. If you are far enough behind you can typically see them
move to the inside and slow right as they approach the deceleration lane,
but thats about it. You just don't want to be under them when they move to
the pits, hehe.

Yea but at least with that option you know SOMEBODY ahead is going to pit
and can move up the track as a precaution. In N4/2k2 you just have to start
riding high laps during pit windows.

When ever it gets close to green flag stops don't even think of
passing low any where near the entrance to pit lane.
