Screamin 3D $99 At Sam's Club

The title says it.  I was at my local Sam's Club yesterday and saw
the price on the Sierra Screamin' 3D Rendition card dropped to $99.
It's a shame, huh, that the V2200 will be out so soon now?  But if
someone has to have a 4 MB Rendition board right now for a
whale-of-a-bargain price, this is it!
    Just thought I'd share this.

What is the V2200?  I currently have Intergraph's Reactor card.  How is it
different from the Intense 3D?

What is the V2200? A new chip?  I just bought a Screamin 3d for $199 at
CompUSA.  Doh!  If I take this back and wait for V2200 what will I gain?
Also, what is this v2200 expected to go for?

Yes, take the Screamin3D back.  The V2200 is the second generation chip
from Rendition.  It's said to be much faster (3x or so) than the current
V1000 cards, and should be among the fastest, if not the fastest, cards
on the market.  Hercules' Thriller3D should be out in a couple weeks,
and has a MSRP of $180 for the 4MB version and $250 for the 8MB version.
BTW, both models come standard with TV output.

If you paid $199 for the Sierra Screamin 3D, TAKE IT BACK!  The V2200 boards
are coming soon and will be much faster than the V1000 boards.  The first
product using the V2200 will be the Thriller3D from Hercules going for
(according to them) ~$249 for 8meg model and ~$299 for 16meg model.  Correct
me if I'm wrong please.  Plus the Thriller3D has video inputs and outputs.
There is also the Diamond Stealth II which uses the V2100 chipset which is
supposed to be 15-20% slower than the V2200 and the V2100 doesn't have the
video extras.

Intergraph also has their Rendition V1000 card for $99.

Is this a 3d add on card? I saw the same card at our local Sam's. I was
wondering if this was a good buy or not. I am running a STB 4meg card and am
looking to upgrade to some better graphics.
