Can anyone give me an idea about my gpl crashing?
I had it loaded and it worked wonderfully well so I know it should work on
this machine as I have not made any hardware changes
I have two hard drives and I think I may have dragged something into a wrong
folder? I had to reload win98. I also deleted gpl then reloaded it
from the copy I burned before all this hit the fan. I had problems a year
ago but was able to get the game going, not this time???
Gpl will load, but when I try to enter the***pit, the computer locks up
solid.

I have 1.2 .0.2 vr
3d3
nvidia GeForce 2,  all drivers updated
Creative Soundblaster Live
Pentium 3 1000
and a really frustrated need for some Solitude in a Ferrari

  I'm not sure If you meant you backed-up your original install off the
harddrive or burned a copy of the cd..but...

     If you installed it from a burned cd,  check and make sure all the
files have the write protection checkbox unchecked.   (it's inside the
properties for the files,    You don't want a checkmark in the 'read only'
box)
