Has anyone been able to get a newer modem to connect at 33.6 when there
is'nt an option for it in the nascar 2 menu.  My modem partner has a newer
56k usr modem, but the fastest setting in N2 is for 28.8, while I have a
supra 33.6 but the highest setting in the N2 menu is 14.4 ...  Is there
anyway to connect these modems together at 33.6, or are we stuck begging
serria for a patch again????

I don't think that N2 will recognize the 56k modem because it is probably a
Winmodem and N2 will only see a DOS modem. Tommy Puckett

G'day.

If you go to your Nascar2 directory you will notice a file called modems.cfg
send it to notepad and edit it by putting your own initialisation string in
there.

Phil.
