I've had the same problem a couple of times with my v2. Just
de-install the drivers and tools, remove the thing from device manager
(if it's still shown) and try re-installing them, that usually fixed
it for me.

No such luck...the only way I fixed it was to steal the V2 out of my
brother's computer.  I noticed my desktop is a lot more clear now as well
(it was a bit blurry and washed out).  I'll try my old card in his computer
to be sure, but I suspect it's toast.  Probably time to buy an old V3 now.

Are you running Windows 98?

Are you saying a new V2 improved your desktop?  That's a neat trick if it
did.

Yeah....about the time my V2 stopped working, my desktop was washed out.  I
guess something in the video pass-thru was causing it.  Or, maybe it was a
massive coincidence that my desktop suddenly became clearer.  Or, maybe my
monitor's on the blink again.  Whatever.

I've noticed that WIndows 95/98 have fuzzier drivers than NT/2000.  That
is the same monitor looks much clearer with NT/2000.

This could also mean that you are running the card/monitor at different
refresh rates under different systems.

NT/2000 is even clearer at the same refresh rate.
