Whats up with the AI at Tally, they slam on their brakes coming out of 4
about every other lap. Don't remember it being like this until after the
last patch.

I see this almost every lap there.  I have also noticed it is the one place
on the track where they try to pass.

The AI really needs a ground-up re-write, as it just keeps getting worse and
worse.  I know lots of folks race strictly online, esp. in this NG, but I
like to practice against the AI to see how my car behaves in traffic.  Right
now, they almost do not even work well enough for this simple purpose.

This is because of the poor overtaking code.  Instead of getting a draft
to overtake like a human, they start to slow down as they pull out and
then accelerate again.  If you're in a train of cars and the 2nd one
does this it causes those behind to have to brake by up to 10mph.  If
you're 4 or 5 cars down and running close, expect to take evasive action
or hit the car in front.

It is not just at Tally, but is most obvious at that part of the
circuit.  It has been something that I've always noticed with Papy sims.
GPL was the same.  :(
