Does anyone know which driver I should use with my Geforce 256-card when
playing NFS Porsche?
The game won't even start. I tried it on my other pc with a TNT2 64 card. No
problem.
Now we want to play network. Help me someone.

Thanx!

I think that would differ from system to system.  You might just try the
latest certified driver and move downwards.  Or else-- more radical-- you
might try swapping cards.  The GeForce 256 just might work in the other
machine.

I have a friend who was able to run it on a GeForce 2 MX with no
problems.  But I think he had to set his desktop to 16 bit color first.
Could that possibly be the problem in your case?

I wasn't having the problem.  With my GeForce 2 MX NFS: PU ran just fine.
It was the other guy who was experiencing difficulty, and he was using a
GeForce 256.  But trying to run the game in 16bit color is a good idea.
It's something to try.

Err, I meant that as a reply to the original poster.  Sorry for the
confusion.  ;o)
