It runs great imo, but have to tone the eye-candy down severely to get a
smooth frame rate. Some guys are happy to race in the 20fps range but i
kinda need min 30 to get any sort of rythym going, especially online...So at
the back of the pack at michigan i can squeeze min 30 at engine start, 30-35
racing in a pack and 40-50fps with a clear track using these options:
1024X16
all lighting and shadows off
car mirror world - medium
objects low
texture normal
distance 65%
14 sounds
unfortunately it will be a whole different story with 42 cars on track :-(
