Now that Papyrus is off and running with its GPL sim, it would be nice if it
would continue with its "Legends" theme and work on a Sportscar sim based on
either the 1967, 68, 69 or 70 seasons.  I would love to get into that
beautiful Ferrari 330 P4 and drive the Le Mans 24 hours.

Thats a great idea, in fact I'd love to see a whole series of legends
titles eventually...

I like to run full length races in F1RS.  What are you trying
to do, kill me?

Seriously, I would love a Le Mans sim.

AFAIK, Papy killed-off "pitting" in GPL (not needed from a
historical standpoint).  This pretty-much kills any add-ons
in the "endurance" category.  =(

Guess we'll have to wait for N3.

What would be excellent would be a chronological series......The
thirties (with the Auto-Union and Mercedes cars) and The Fifties
(Fangios era, the Ferraris, Maseratis, Mercedes).

That would be great, especially if it were possible to duplicate the
tracks of each era as faithfully as possible, but I wouldn't want to
limit the idea to Grand Prix only... eventually, I'd really love to see
such titles as Legends of NASCAR (Hemis, no restrictors, can you say
SPEED?), Legends of Endurance (some of the endurance cars of the '60's
and '70's were and still are among my favorite race cars of all time...
flat out down the Mulsanne straight in a Porsche 917 longtail...)
Legends of the Brickyard... the possibilities are endless...

Ferrari 330 P4 Sim anyone?

Yes--wouldn't it be interesting to try and come to grips with one of the big
old rear-engined Auto Unions from the 1930s. . . .

Or maybe a 1000-hp BMW from the last years of the turbo era . . .
