I have installed the patch and the IRL Beta.  But still can not get the
program to recognize the changes.  Can anyone help?

Thanks

IRL Heat - Help

I haven't installed the irl heat patch yet.  But based on the Cart heat
patch there
are a few issues..First, did you install Nascar Heat in the default folders
or did
you move it around?  NH makes a folder on the c:\ drive even if you install
the
rest of the game on another drive or partition.    So where the files go is
important.
2nd.  Make sure you have done a full install, not the cd installation.
and add the 1.1e & 1.3a patches before you run the IRL patch.
if you can don't use the installer, or after the files are installed move
them to the following
spots.
(these are the cart files..I'm guessing the IRL files are the same.  )
backup the paint.res and drivers.txt files before beginning
move the drivers text to the main nascar heat folder.  This is either the
C:\program files\hasbro interactive\nascar heat or ...if you installed the
game to another drive,
then put the drivers.txt in the nascar heat folder on your 2nd drive.  The
paint.res and IRL.car files go to the data folder  and that should do it.
If you still need help, gimme a shout and I'll run the irl patch to double
check everything.
