IRL Heat Question

IRL Heat Question

by BRH » Wed, 17 Oct 2001 04:57:34

I'm having trouble at the start of offline races in IRL Heat.  When the
green flag drops, I'm left totally in the dust.  The AI takes off like
they're shot out of a cannon, while I'm left way behind.  By the time
I'm up to speed, they are almost out of sight.

Are there any settings that I need to tweak?  I already have the
accelerator floored.

Thanks.

Having the same trouble. Plus they look like they're not riding completely
on the ground. All in all it's a good addon.

I've got some people testing a possible fix -- if you'd like to test
it out as well, look for the threads calling for testers on the BHMS
NASCAR Heat forum or the official NASCAR Heat forum itself.

The car shadows are a tad "off," which is why the tires don't always
seem to be in good contact with the ground.  This is something I may
patch later, but it was a smallish concern during development compared
to the AI and stuff.
