OK, I don't have the 3.1 update, but here is the full zip file of
SCGT, this is ONE single file, 125 megs so BE PREPARED for a long, long,
long dload.   Get a dload manager...don't come back complaining when you
get interupted.
If anyone has the 3.1 update zipped up, please feel free to upload
that to the same folder as the SP3.0 is in.  The site is really
overloaded this morning,  I got lots of 'server to busy' messages this
morning when I went to check on the file upload.

I will take this time to THANK Gunslinger, James Wohlever, for
producing this huge monster...
Now be nice and don't all rush over to swamp poor Myspace.com.

Now if only someone would do the same with the rendition version of the ICR2

Two Answers for the price of one.
First why doesn't getright work....I DON'T KNOW!  I just found that site
after asking about it here, so I have really no information.  Perhaps
because it is a storage site and not an ftp or http transfer, getright
doesn't work....  I have to admit tho,  the websit seems like one of the
SLOWEST sites I've frequented in the last few years...even slower than
Sierra's old site.
I just tried dloading it with Go!zilla and that didn't work either.
It looks like they have their own dloading and uploading format using
your browser....pooh!

I won't do the Sierra tracks cuz thats messing with a Corparation.
Heck for all I know Gunslinger is getting ready to sue me for storing
SP3.0.  But with the tracks...better to find the cd and own it than get
messed up with those meaner than Grue Lawyers.

Dave, I want to personally thank you for this GREAT service!!! Since I have
DSL at work the size issue doesn't matter much: what does is ease of use.
Nothing's easier than a SINGLE file install instead of making sure I have
every single file.  I've been trying to get the SINGLE file SP3.0 since I
got SCGT recently.

Again, thanks.

What's this about SP3.1?

Service 3.0 was a HUGE MASSIVE work by a user that adds much to
the SCGT experience.  James Wolhever created the patch that adds
something like 155 real world cars to the scgt garage.  Plus it replaces
the GTQ category with an American Trans Am group and GT2 with Aussie
V8's.  Numerous bug fixes are also included.  From my liver-addled
memory, I can't drudge them up tho.
The sp3.1 update replaced the cars that had high polygon counts with
those less detailed so your system wouldn't bog down so much  Plus other
quick fixes.  Unfortunately I didn't keep the 3.1 so I can't pass that
along as well.
Getting sp3.0 AND the ALMS patch almost totally transforms the sim.
One caution tho...be prepared to hunt and search the various SCGT
websites as many of the new cars don't have sound files included.
If you can find scgtsoundcheck.zip it will list the various files that
can be dloaded to give you the proper sounds.

ps...I finally found JW's email address again.  I sent off asking for
permission to post the file.  If he complains, I will yank it
immeadiately, I respect his effort and his wishes.
