and 8 meg minimum for vga version (just like indycar on detail), and a
486dx2-66 or better for the SVGA version (and VESA TSR loaded).
I've got the dx2-66 bumped to 40Mhz on motherboard. martinsville and
bristol were great, bristol is concrete, just like the real world. Seems
best to go out and practice with the other cars to learn how / where to
brake/accel, where the groove is. at martinsville, the concrete is the
low groove, and you split concrete and aspault for the high groove (when
you miss the low groove). The cars damage just like the real thing, as I
tapped the #8 rabestos car under caution and the 'rabestous' and the
bumper kinda folded up. still couldn't run all the details on and such,
so I guess that pentuim is around the corner. When I ran taledegga, it
seemed to hurt the frame rate and replay frame rate, which would make
sense. You've got both goodyear and hoosier, and don't speed down pit
lane, and the other folks will 'assist' you at martinsville if you block
a lot and allow you to spin around. haven't worried about the setup's
and chnging them, but it should be a blast. The replays are great,
specially when you hit another car (often at martinsville).
good luck, jeff
