Ok, so where does "Coca-Cola" fit in to this?  That's what threw me off.

Oh, did you mention that in your post?

The only reason I even knew which sim you were talking about was the
mention of Coca Cola...

back in the joystick days and ICR1.  You could go flat out all the way
around that track.  Sheer magic...tons of downforce, lots of Horspower...The
Golden age of 1 mile ovals and CART.
Then I got ICR2 with vastly reduced downforce(CART rule changes not Papy's
fault)  and also got a T2 wheel...sheeesH!   I couldn't get close to the old
times...and keeping the throttle down for that flat oval??? No chance...
I've said it before...ICR1 ruined me as a driver...ya didn't need to worry
about lines, or technique or any of that.....just throw the car deep into
the turns and hang on...
But yeah...  Milwaukee was a fav with me back in the fuzzy ages too...

The installer installs 2 tracks, Rockingham Cup and Rockingham ASCAR. The
ASCAR version has lower tyre wear and is restricted.

FANTASTIC!  I didn't know anyone was working on it!

That makes my day, but I won't be able to try it until tomorrow :-(

Did I really need to?  Really?  Had this post been not been in a thread
titled N2002 Rockingham  UK I could see why someone would not have
understood what I was talking about however it was.  Kinda just logic there.
Apparantly the installer installs two tracks and my light was dim and didn't
explore it enough to realize it.

So that is what Read-Me's are for?  I scrolled down to where the first
restrictor plate version was and never even thought there was another track
below it.  Doh.  Thanks.

It's considered poor netiquette to change the subject of a thread without
referring to the previous topic to begin with and not mentioning what you're
on about in the body of the message is indeed very confusing.

Unfortunately, usenet doesn't follow your logic.Depending on propagation,
server type, message life and/or the other users' synchronisation settings
your post can be lifted out of context. It appeared out of context to me.
That's why it's good practise to always refer to the previous topic by means
of "[was: ...]" E.g. "WTF? [was: N2002 Rockingham  UK]".

Apparently, you're still not firing on all cylinders. ;-)

I don't know about the other people who responded, but for me your
post shows up as it's own "WTF" thread. It doesn't make much sense
taken totally out of the context of the thread it was apparently
origianlly a part of.

Um, this post ISN'T in a thread titled N2002 Rockingham UK.  It's in a thread
titled "WTF".
So from THAT, we're supposed to know wtf you're even TALKING about?
Whatever...
