downshift once past neutral and voila...
cold tires and your original fuel load

I think you will really enjoy the wheel. Gives a better feeling of
driving but there are some fast people who just use a joystick for
steering and the pedals for gas and brake.

It works on two levels. Firstly with the left and right arrows to
select "sections", then with the "dog ear" in the bottom right corner
of the program to turn the pages. For example to get to the grid you
should use the bottom arrows to find the practice times, then use the
"dog ear" to turn the page and see the grid.

Yes - keep downshifting until it goes into neutral - one more
downshift selects reverse.

Yes, you get cold tyres and a full tank of fuel.

Cheers!

Just a thought: how about using Linux for productivity stuff
and Windows for ***? Keeps your windows installation clean
and gives you a stable environment to work with. best of both
worlds.

I don't have a screen saver installed, but I just let windows blank the
screen. This keeps working fine and saves power too :-)

You should look at it like this. The arrows select different "books" and
the dog ears select different pages. So mostly you'll need a click or
two at both of them.

Yes there is. If you shift down once from gear one you get into neutral
and if you shift down once more... hey! it's reverse!

That's right. It's a whole new car cold tires and full fuel.

This wheel is going to change your life! :-)
Have fun racing.

But, sorry to say, that is a screen saver and cause problems with GPL.
Causing the screen to freeze while everything else still continues.  At
least on some people's systems.

Too bad that doesn't help then :-(
Perhaps you could set this option in the BIOS? Although I don't know if
the BIOS sees a wheel as input. You could get a blank screen while
racing.

Assuming your monitor and video card support power saving, set your
Windows screen saver to "None" and set the "Low-power standby" and
"Shut off monitor" options underneath to something reasonable.  (I
use 25 and 30 minutes.)  Screen savers prevent screen burn-in, but
they do not extend monitor life, which is measured in hours left
on.  Power saving extends monitor life and saves power, while not
wasting CPU cycles displaying something that nobody is watching.
(Just turning off your monitor does the same thing, of course.)

GPL hasn't messed with my machine's power saving options.
