I'm ditching my Act-Labs ForceRS soon...
I was looking at the Momo (with Speed7
pedals), but it (the Momo) doesn't seem like
a product that will last. People post here
about the lack of parts and the
unresponsiveness of Logitech.
I want my next wheel to be my last wheel
for a long time.............(RL?.....GPL2?)
I don't want to wait until 2003.
Which could turn into Q3 or Q4 2003...
BRD Sim-Classic? ($225 fee to wait for FF?)
Do you suppose that BRD will offer an upgrade
kit or maybe a discount for owners?
........bummer............................................
And it is likely to be very expensive when you bear in mind the Speed7
pedals cost 300.

The BRD FF wheel definitely exists and has been seen and used by sim racers.
Ball Racing had a working version of it at Goodwood. It was fitted to their
complete F1 chassis. Unfortunately at the time, the FF wheel was only really
suitable for commercial clients. I have heard figures of 4000 bandied
around as to how much that particular wheel cost.
Obviously the Speed7 wheel is going to be aimed at a wider target audience
of sim racers who want high-end kit. To this end it will have to be priced a
lot cheaper. I reckon it will cost around the 400-500 mark although this is
a pure guess.
