3.53 Drivers and GPL

Has anyone had any problems with GPL after they loaded nVidia's 3.53
drivers? I am having some weird intermittent video flickering problems in
GPL. This seemed to happen right after loading the new drivers. Thanks for
any replies.

I have a CL TNT2 Ultra now running nVidia' 3.53 (using the Cool Bits
to OC it to 175/200) with no problems in GPL.  Occasionally, when
starting Windows (Win98) the desktop goes black for a second then
continues to load without any problems.
