Creative Labs Website there is a 128 POCI card, but I read everywhere that
the AWE 64 is a ISA card...
Who knows the truth??
thanks
Who knows the truth??
thanks
I have a SB PCI64, having no problems at all (incl. gameport).
Haven't tried 3d sound though. Ah well, GPL doesn't use it anyway.
Note, it's not a AWE64.
If I recall correctly , I have seen it (the PCI64) on the Creative site, but
only after some searching around.

The other card is the PCI 64D which is usually only availabe as an OEM option
in computers such as Gateway. These card differ from the 64V in that they have
an Ensoniq 1373 chip and SPDIF digital output.
Both these cards sound god and perform well but have a major flaw. They can;t
handle Digital joysticks such as the MS Sidewinder series. For this reason I
have just replaced the PCI 64V in my machine with an Diamond MX300.
Hope this load of techno mumbo jumbo helps.

The AWE64 is an ISA CARD.
There _is_, or _was_, a PCI64 that was a PCI model.
