I recently started playing N2... again(actually Nascar 50th Anniv.), this
time using the Win95 version for 3dfx.  I want to get the latest patches,
but I can't find out what version I'm running.  How do I find it?  When I
start the game I don't see the running list of: components being loaded,
software version, soundcard present, etc, as in ICR2.  I question my version
being the latest because of the behavior of the computer cars in a short

laps, but at the end of the race, I was out front pulling away.  I shouldn't
be able to do that at Talledega.  Thanks.

I have Nascar 50th.  It has Cup, BGN, and I don't like trucks.  Not on
asphalt anyway.  Trucks are supposed to race on dirt.

Okay, but what's even BETTER is that NR99 also includes the
TRACKS the trucks run on - Portland Speedway being the most important
to me.  We go to the races as often as we can and the chance to run a
BGN car there is TOO cool!!!
Unfortunately this year the trucks ran at Portland
International Raceway - a ROAD COURSE!!! DAMMIT.  I went to qualifying
and realized I wouldn't be able to see anything but the front stretch.
Besides, my car blew up the afternoon of the race so I missed it.
