Now THAT I can agree with, John.

I cannot agree with Tom's "You get damaged, you leave" mentality.

I had a dented hood today, and still came in third against two of the
fastest drivers in RASCAR.  Hell, I ALMOST won the thing TWICE!

You mean civilized like the chat im going to post below this ??? Please
define civilized John, as you seem to be hard and heavy into rules and
regs...

<<<hide the children in the other room>>>

Well, I was running in 6th when Neil lost his throttle spring and was
plowed into by the 98 car, which took me and a few other cars out.

And then, it got better - I think I got the worst of it though because
the back of my car got pushed in.

To make matters worse, I was trying to avoid hitting the 19 car as we
exited the pits (hje was ina hurry to pass me, buyt he wasn't in a hurry
to proceed through the turn so I went up onto the track and got awarded
a move to the end of the longest line penalty.

My spotter was shouting to stay behind the 170 car (I WAS BEHIND THE
***ING 170 CAR), but the 170 car was ignoring his spotter who was
telling him to pass me.  As a result, I got a black flag for passing
under the ***ing yellow.

Then, on one of the restarts, the 98 car hit me AGAIN, and backed me
into the outside wall in turn 1.

I finished laps down in 8th or 9th place.  I don't mind finishing in 8th
or 9th place, but it really torques me to be laps down, ESPECIALLY when
it's not my fault.

Opinion: Single file restarts don't do squat for us.  All it does is
keep lapped cars from regaining a lap.  Other than that, it's just like
running double-file restarts. Caution-after-***in-caution.

I think a lot of folks need to practice.  A LOT!  You can't come to ANY
of these tracks cold - the fast setup is just too twitchy when you're
not used to it.  I think the fast setups are just fine as LONG AS YOU
PRACTICE!

<<<bring the kids back>>>
I usually keep these opinions to myself, but you really need some dietary
fiber lately.
I have nothing against you personally, but is i treated my customer base
the way you treat folks out here, i would be living in a refrigerator
packing crate.

Huh?

I didn't blame anyone for anything, I was just venting.  This is like
the 3rd or 4th race where I got a bogus black flag from the sim because
it got screwed up somehow.

Someone else's throttle spring breaks, and my race is ruined as well.

I put in a LOT of practice time for these races beacause I don't want to
look like a freak on wheels during the race.

Seeing as how these are pretty much the only online races I race in, it
twsists me to have results like this.  I think I'm well within my rights
to complain about the outcome.

I was too far off the pace, and couldn't find an easy way to let people by.  I
got caught by the wall glue a couple of times, damaged my car on one of those
occasions.  It simply wasn't fun.  I only intended to take the green flag so
that I'd get points for starting.  Once I'd done that, it really didn't matter.

C'mon, Larry......

It's **not** "Tom's you get damaged, you leave" mentality.  I was simply
pointing out an alternative to having heavily damaged cars run (for points
only) in an race that is not collecting points.  I wasn't suggesting "any
level of damage" should take you out.....only damaged that slows you to
non-competitive lapping just to finish the race.

Making "suggestions" or pointing out alternatives doesn't make them
"mine"....its not a personal issue and stop trying to make it one.  In as
many cases as not, I am probably not even in favor of something I might
suggest.......but I can still point them out or suggest them as an
alternative, you know?
