If I were a Goldfish in the West household...I would be taking
evolution lessons. :)

Yep. It was really quite nice, what with the neat teddy bear design and
all. ;o)

Any possibility of people getting banned here?

Are you serious ? I like cats but "I`m gonna burn a candle "...your're
joking, right ???
Save this in your "drafts" until April 1st .
Sorry, this is USENET. You might want to explore the countless
features that web forums offer if you think banning people will help
improve the general quality and niveau (wow, I spelt that! ;-) of
posts within the community. ;-)
All the best,

Actually, on second thought, I can well relate. Our cat lucy died a
couple of years ago, and both my son and me cried like babies when we
took her from the pet doc who'd help her pass on to the other side,
then burying her in my in-law's garden (they say cat's graves make for
great roses). I even put up an obituary (now, did I spell that
correctly?) at http://www.racesimcentral.net/
But still, whenever I feel sorry about the death of a cat, I remind
myself of the many creatures she / he has put to death in the most
cruelly, even playsome, kind of way, leaving them for us to finish off
without so much as a glance to the side when she walked past. How does
it feel to kill a little bird fallen from its nest by putting a ***y
spade through its neck? Have you ever watched those tiny wings
fluttering when death cometh?
You know, sometimes it's everybody's turn, be it bird, mouse, cat or
human. There comes a time when it's time to give back to the community
of life on this planet, which you have eaten through without doing so
much as thinking about it, for all your life.
I attended a funeral today of a relative (not cat), so these thoughts
are in my head at the moment.
Cheers,
uwe
