Are there car sound patches for Indycar? The cars sound too high
        pitched, almost ear-piercing.

Also, does someone know where to get the 94 or 95 cars for
        Indycar Racing?

Thanks.

The sounds are pretty realistic.  If you have ever stood near the track
when the cars are charging down the straight, you'll know what I mean.
Ear splitting to say the least.

The 94 cars are availible via FTP at didnt.doit.wisc.edu  The file is
called 94CARS.ZIP.  This is Peter Burkes *awesome* auto simulator FTP
site.  Far better than the Papyrus site.  I don't think any one has any
95 cars yet, as most haven't been seen publicly with the 95 paint
jobs/decals.

Actually - the latest version is called cars94x.zip - created after the
end of the '94 season and matching season performance. Ralf Southard
did a great job on that set, and I have a hunch he is already collecting
images and video tape for the '95 paint jobs.

Sometmes I wonder if the existence of my ftp site is the cause for
Papyrus to ignore the upkeep on their own site? Not even the track
patches can be found at their site!

Thanks, I'll pick it up.  Jacques and Fernandez were finishing further
back than they did at the real tracks.

Could be.  But that is still no excuse for spotty support. Even on the
Compu$erve forum they sponsor, messages go for a week sometimes with no
response.  They seem to have a morale problem.  Wonder if the company
is OK?  I hope so.

They should at least give you (Peter) free games and upgades for life!
If they were real smart, they might give you something for your trouble
:-)

Thanks for the great site, I'll problably start IICC Lites by the end
of the month.
