OT: Hardware again

I just finished upgrading to an AMD K6-2 300, and so far I'm quite happy with it. I have a few questions that the gurus here may be able to help with-
1. I currently have a Stealth II. Would I experience any big improvement(in GPL, mainly) by going to an 8MB Rendition card? Would AGP be any help?
2. Budget constraints only allowed me to purchase 32MB of SDRAM, so I also installed 16MB of EDO RAM from my other system. Is this helping at all, or does the slower memory negate the increase from 32 to 48 MB?

Thanks in advance.

Ups, Sdram ( DIMM 3,3 V ) and EDO RAM ( SIMM 5 V ), bad idea, very bad, you're gonna fry your SDRAM, but EDO will be fine, though ;-) ( remember Traninspotting ).

At 300 cpu speed it's a tossup as far as fps performance between the
rendition v2200 and the voodooII. Papy sims were designed from the start to
utilize the rendition chip and will to most people look better. If your
interests are mainly papy sim performance and you want the look, get the
v2200 agp or pci. If you play lots of other games like quake or ... get the
voodooII. Check the ram. Have fun!
