Watchin' the trucks today I got the itch to do some truck racin' at Gateway
in Nascar3. But after installing it and applying the latest patch, it
doesn't seem to run. Regardless that it's outdated, has anyone ever ran N3
in WinXP?

Try running it in "compatibility" mode

Have you tried installing it from the beginning using Compatibility Mode?
Use Start/Run to browse the CD, locate the install.exe or setup.exe file,
right-click it and select the compatibility mode you're going to run it in.
After installation, right-click the link you use to run it and again select
the mode. Make sure your audio/video drivers are all updated, too.

I can tell you that I run N3 and the CTS Addon just fine here on WinXP. I
race the trucks once a week in a online league and have a blast with it

(I still say that N3 is so much nicer for online leagues.. you can actually
race door to door)

MSFT), it works!
