Mercedes Benz Truck Racing, etc. vs. WinXP Home Edition

Hello all,

Has anybody tried running the Mercedes Benz Truck Racing sim on a PC
with Windows XP?  I'm getting a new PC soon, see specs below, and wondered
if it would run at all...or will I have to somehow alter MBTR during/after
installation?  MBTR sim, WinXP, and all other drivers will be updated to
their most current non-beta versions.  Thanks in advance for any info.

P.S.   You can buy MBTR from www.gogamer.com in the States....I haven't seen
it anywhere else.
P.P.S.  Does anybody know if Collin McRae Rally 2, GP3, Grand Prix Legends,
F1 2002 and GTR2002, NFS3HP(1)  and NFSPU, and Superbike 2001 will run
well...smoothly and with minimum crashing or freezing on this PC?   Thanks
again.

I bought MBTR when it came out and couldn't use it as i refused to go back
18 months in drivers to 'suit' it.

I tried it about 3 months ago with my new system and it runs
excellently, with all the latest drivers etc etc as long as you add the
1.0.0.9/10 patch.

Have fun mate.

says...

CMR2, GP3 2000, GPL and the original Superbike should all work under XP.
Doubt the NFS games will work though (couldn't get Road Challenge/High
Stakes to work).

Thanks all for the replies.  Looks like I'll be getting "another darn game"
for Xmas!  Does anyone know if GP3, not GP3 200X will work with WinXP?
