A friend of mine needs help: he bought F1RS and says he sees black
squares instead of tyres and trees. What's the cure? Thanks.

Eric, Your buddy doesn't happen to have a Matrox Mystique does he? He
may be able to solve his problem with new video card drivers but may
need a card that does _real_ 3D acceleration. Post some more info about
the system.

No, I think he has an ATI 3D Expression. He says the card has the
"Rage" chip.

You meen a 3Dfx card? That's still a bit too expensive so he hopes he
can play F1RS with his ATI card.

It's a Pentium 200MMX with 32 Mb of RAM and the ATI card with 4 Mb of
RAM. Do you need more informations?

He tried small and complete installation, it didn't solve the
problem...
